KACO new energy GmbH
Setting up an energy-efficient supply depot
The project / The customer requirement
When inverter manufacturer KACO new energy made the decision to plan a new production plant including production buffer and distribution warehouse in Neckarsulm, the use of synergies as well as further concentration at one site and necessary expansion of capacity to lower unit costs were the main objectives. As main contractor for the intralogistics equipment, Aberle GmbH put into effect an integral solution from rack and conveyor system, to storage and retrieval machines, right up to implementing the Aberle PMS-W Warehouse Management System together with the PMS-E Energy Saving Module. The plant could be handed over to the customer within 15 weeks from the start of assembly. With improved use of conveyor components, automated storing and production supply as well as intelligent energy saving software, Aberle has optimized efficiency of resources used in KACO new energy‘s new manufacturing plant. In addition, production supply and performance have been set up to face future growth.
